Sooooooo - in summary (if I may be so bold), the Lions are sweeping all the chaff or fodder teams before them, but the only serious opposition they have come up against so far stomped their ass. Did I understand that correctly? :)

there was no ass stomping, we were quite clearly cheated out of that win!

Are you sure it was the ref? Could it not have been the weather conditions or the shape of the ball or the fact that the dirty cheating opposition had blimmin 15 players on the field? :D
Don't take it too hard though - we Aussies usually find the Maori team harder to beat than the "ll Blcks", so things can only get easier.

I only saw highlights of the earlier games but watched the Maori one. The Maori really should have won by more. Lions looked pretty poor until the other side started giving eachother slaps on the back for winning the game despite there still being minutes on the clock.

Looks as if the Lions are doing much better than the Australian cricket team. Another day, another defeat! Taken apart by the mighty Somerset!!!

Gosh - was it Somerset we was playing? I thought it was a combined South Africa and Sri Lanka side - at least the captains of those countries were the ones that I saw made the runs ;). And how serious were the OZ oys taking things if they were letting their top batsmen retire without getting dismissed.
Nah - I ain't fussed about the cricket just yet - it's the football I was devastated about. We had the German's measure, and some git takes a dive in the box to ""earn"" a penalty - BAH!!! We should have at least got a point out of that game - the Germans can consider themselves very lucky.

It's nice to have native players in your team. The other 9 were or course British. What ever happened to Kepler Wessels?
What about this load of renegades?
Australia:
Mark Schwarzer
Tony Popovic
Josip Skoko,
Jason Culina,
John Aloisi
Ljubo Milicevic.
