I enjoy playing the official MLS fantasy league, and am doing pretty well (in the top 2000 managers). But I wonder about the fairness of the game - lots of the high level teams are just rediculous. I was checking out the top point getters today to see what kind of rosters they have, and they have teams that are just impossible without cheating of some sort. For example, the number 62 team in the league has 9 players over $300K, 4 of which are over $450. And they still have more than 800,000 in the bank! Maybe if you do nothing all day except MLSFC you can day trade players to pick up the odd thousand here or there as prices fluctuate, but that means spending hundreds of real dollars on new trades.

Yeah, I know my MLS very well, and I am doing about as good as you. If there were not a limit on trades I would be doing a lot better. It's like I get punished for not wanting to gamble away my money and just play for fun. It sucks if a guy gets injured for the season and you are out of trades. This is my first try at any fantasy league, and I hope not all of them have trade limits.

The most money you can spend is $56 for one team. You can only buy 75 trades in the game, which at 11 trades for $8 is $56.00. You do need to do some planning , but most of that is in the beginning of the season. There is no cheating needed for this game, just some proper planning and knowing how to play the game. It gets easier as you keep playing.
