Is it just me or does it seem like Liverpool fans are popping up all over Big Soccer. And its not just new memebers, I see alot of people "adding" liverpool to thier list of teams. I mean, If you're going to Glory Hunt the least you could do is NOT pick a fluke team. Whats next? Are you guys going to start supporting Greece.

We won over a ton of 'casual' football fans with our fighting spirit against Milan.

Truly a "fluke" team -- we are the only British team to win in Europe in the 21st century --- UEFA Cup and Champions League. Two League Cups and an FA Cup. In the summer we'll add a second Super Cup.

A fluke team huh???

It's funny you should say that, because your argument is about forum members who have "miraculously" turned into LFC fans overnight. Therefore, by keeping the same thought in mind, how can you call LFC fluke.

I'll assume that your on about the Champions League? Well I'm sorry mate, you don't beat the teams we did over that many matches and call it a fluke.

Plus, what about our past achievements HMMMmmm!

I suppose being the most successful club in the English game is all fluke too huh??

On your Bike laddy!!!

OK, I'll take you attempt @ trying to rub it in, and I'll admit that it's a tough fact to swallow.

However, we had a bad season. Surely a 1-off.

things will turn around.

Of course they will. You can just get the authorities to change whatever rules you want to guarantee it. Hell, since they like applying things to previous seasons, why don't you get them to change the rules for every competition you have participated in during the last 50 years?

Another bitter jealous saddo. You're still smarting because Juventus didn't thrash Liverpool as you predicted. Your views are about as relevant as those of a pet hamster.

Yep, I believe Liverpool are fifth seeds in Europe these last five seasons. That means only 4 more teams posses a better record in Europe than Liverpool and NO British teams are among them. No Chelsea, no Arsenal and no Man Utd. I think in the last five season winning the UEFA Cup, the Champions League plus being 4 mins away from another CL semi final (in 2002) and another UEFA Cup quarter final is clear proof of Liverpool being a 'fluke' team. In that case, gimme a fluke team then coz I'm loving it. :D

I didn't predict that Juventus would thrash Liverpool. You would be equally pissed off if the rules had been changed to suit someone like Chelsea or Man Utd.

Why would anyone have a problem with Liverpool being in the Champions League, if you win a tournament you should be able to defend it, end of story, deal with it, move on, this argument has gone on to long

Another one who has completely missed the boat.

The issue is rules being changed after the season has finished, in order to suit Liverpool and the FA. That is wrong and that is what the complaints are all about.

Since when has everybody been such a stickler for rules and a very silly rule at that, most people on these boards and people Ive spoke to seem to think the same thing, the rule was stupid and was an oversight which should have never been allowed. Uefa should have a plan for every eventuality but they didnt.

The only people who dont seem to agree with it are people who have a dislike for Liverpool not because they want the rules to be upheld
