Both scoring for the USA against Panama yesterday. Very well done to them both. Fulham got a good amount of exposure last night which is all that much better.
Glad to see the USA take a major stride to the World Cup.
On a side note, does anyone else thinks its funny that Japan was the first team to officially qualify?

Not so much funny as sick. If any region can have all four of its teams qualify simultanously because the other four teams suck, it's not very much fun.
McBride is definitely sending Coleman a message (and Bocanegra too) that he deserves to keep his end-of-season starting XI spot. The fact that the United States has four sets of teammates available (Rolston and Noonan; Rolson and Dempsey; Wolff and Zavagnin; and our boys) definitely has been helping with the team chemistry in the two recent matches.

In addition to Boca and McBride, how many Fulham players are playing in WCQ for their countries, and which appear likely to be playing in Germany '06?
I agree about how easy it is for a mediocre Asian side to reach the finals, given the competition.

Sadly not many.
Elrich for Australia.
Diop for Senegal (if they make it).
Radz would be starting for Canada if they weren't already out.
The rest are either retired from international competition or really young. Though John might get a nod for Holland in 2006 (with the problem being the Dutch's depth at striker), same with Volz at Germany (who seem to have back line issues, though Volz has never really started for Germany)
Boa Morte might play for Portugal (he usually makes the bench but it's doubtful he'll play).
