I couldn't believe this one. The urbanite to coach the hicks... What a change from Guy Roux.

Auxerre isnt a good job. There's no potential for growth.

Obsession

Persistent, unwanted idea or impulse which is considered normal when it does not markedly interfere with mental processes or emotional adjustment.

Auxerre remains a side that can produce good performances as it was in the past, the kind of team that might win the UEFA Cup one day. And there's nothing shameful about that. Plus this is rather good rehab job for S........a.......n........t........i........n...........i.*

*Private joke for "Les Guignols" viewers.

Please spare me. They didnt even come close to winning it when they had guys like Cisse, Fadiga, Boumsong, Kapo, Mexes, Kalou, etc. They didnt even make a semi final with those players. Their window has closed and their ship has passed.

My point is : it is still an interesting side to coach even if it is not an European first choice (I got that, I'm not that dumb).

And spare you what ? You want me to ask for your priceless permission before I post something or what !!?

Calm down, man. I like you. I'd rather waste my time hating Italian or English soccer fans rather than a fellow French soccer lover. I guess I dont think Auxerre is that attractive of a job like you think it is.

It's a nice job. 18,000 rapid hicks coming to all of your games. A youth academy that's gold. A good season is not getting relegated, so every year your a hero (just ask Guy Roux). This is a nice cushy job. Great job security. He's going to love it there.

Uh where are you getting 18,000 from ? This right here says they averaged over 11,000 per season good for 16th place out of 20 teams. Thats not too great even Monaco finished ahead of them in attendance this year.

Beau gosse le Jacques Santini :)

Looks like he's already transitioned from Guy Roux perfectly. Too funny.
