I was reading up on the houston and i know what every possible stadium for a houston team looks like except delmar stadium. If you have any pics post em here

Well, I'm not sure that pics of the current stadium will tell too much of the story. The idea is to redevelop the complex, including Delmar Stadium. So, if an MLS team plays there, the stadium probably won't look much like its current form. Even an upgrade of the existing facility (as opposed to altogether new construction) would probably change the appearance of Delmar Stadium pretty significantly.

But with those qualifications in mind, here are some useful pics from HISD's site (http://www.houstonisd.org/Departments/channel_front/0,3107,109406110_108423817,00.html).

Here's a drawing of the Delmar complex site. Delmar Stadium is marked. The H-shaped building in the lower right corner is the new HISD Administration Building that's under construction.

Here's a pic that shows Delmar Stadium in the upper center. The parking area in the lower left corner is for Northwest Mall, which is also going to undergo some redevelopment.

I haven't bothered to listen to that audio yet, so it may say something about this. But I read an article a few months back that the Houston SA proposed a $45 million renovation of Delmar. That would probably just knock the stadium down and build a PHP quality stadium.

That would probably just knock the stadium down and build a PHP quality stadium.Yeah, $40-50 million is the number I recall being tossed around. Given the size of the Delmar complex, there wouldn't be any youth fields like the Frisco development. We're really talking about a new stadium and a practice field.

I would love to see the look on the MLS players face, when they walk into the locker rooms for the first time!!! LOL!!! :o
