MLS Player Data/Attributes - Help with some Research
I’m a researcher for Football Manager/Worldwide Soccer Manager by SI Games (formerly Championship Manager).
What I'm looking for is some people who are very familiar with any of the MLS teams to step up and help me (and the Head Researcher for MLS, Tony) get the data right for next time around so that we can have the most accurate and enjoyable FM experience possible all round.
I am in charge of the Eastern Conference teams directly, but would welcome help from anyone who has a solid knowledge of the league and any one team in particular. I will pass details of those who would help best on the Western Conference to Tony.
Qualifications!
Ideally, you will have watched games live (recently) - a season ticket holder would be best - as would anyone who has taken in some of the reserve league games.
I'll be looking for opinions on things such as:
*Brief description of players (as many as you’d like to include).
*Fastest players on your team
*Best crossers (usual set piece takers)
*Most influential (who takes the armband when your captain goes off)
*who is the man marker, or best headerer on set pieces
And so on.
FM/WSM uses a scale of 1-20 for attributes and a 1-200 scale for both current ability and potential ability. Potential ability can also be gauged as a -1 to -10 scale. (Eg. Freddy Adu would be a -10). If you are more comfortable, you would be welcome to submit info in a depth chart format, rather than assigning attributes.
Any help is welcome!
So, if you're up for it, please let me know by sending me a personal message (or email to aljarov@hotmail.com). Needless to say this is unpaid (before you ask) - even for me. It’s all about the end product and having MLS represented accurately for me.
Thanks!
Al
