First of all, I'll take a 3-0 win any day. Nice to see DMB and Donovan together again. Happy to see McBride to get a goal. And KK once again made several awesome saves. Three points is three points and we're well on the way to qualifying for Germany. That said, once we get to Germany, we won't go far if:
A) Arena doesn't find a solid back four (or 5) that he can rely on. Even KK said this in his SI interview with Wahl. Had Keller not made a couple of great saves, CR is up 2-1 mid-way through the 2nd half and it's a different situation altogether.
B) With better finishing this game would have been over in the 1st half. To be able to compete with the world's truly elite sides, we have got to score on more of the chances we create (the good news is, even on an off day we create plenty of chances).
All & all I was happy with what I saw last night. We are deep, especially up top and at mid-field. I've been a KK detractor at times, but he has been huge in the last two games.
