Un(explictive)believeable. My first qualifying game and I can't make it, all because I-80 is fraking snowed in from Cheyenne to Laramie, in freaking June. And if it weren't for a dental emergency, I would have been able to leave to SLC yesterday. Oh well, there's a $40 ticket right out the window (sorry, I needed to vent and this is the best palce).

The first National team game I ever went to was in Richmond, and parking was nowhere near adequate, nor was the interstate exit designed to handle that much out of town traffic. I spent the entire first half looking for parking.
I feel your pain. Sucks, man--who plans for snow in June? :(

Sometimes the snow comes down in june
Sometimes the sun goes ’round the moon
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
That is actually ironic because I drove to my first ever WCQ in Foxboro from college in Vermont. It was snowing and for some reason the wiper fluid didn't work on the car I was driving, so I had to keep stopping and washing the windshield off with snow! Arrived in Foxboro at halftime but still got to see four goals in the second half. Then on the way back we got lost in the White Mountains and I had to try and stay on on these tiny little unplowed backroads with summer tires. That was a fun trip.

I appreciate the sympathy fellows. Maybe I feel a little better because I just bought myself a new flatscreen tv to watch today's game on :D Oh well, if we win, it'll make it worthwhile. And if it is some sort of memorable game, I'll have the ticket stub for it :)

Precisely the point we don't plow them. Keep you Green Mountain Staters from coming back :)
