USA - Costa Rica - No TV in England?

I have looked at every tv schedule I can find, and I don't think that the U.S. - Costa Rica game will be on tv here in England. Please, someone that knows anything about it, tell me I'm wrong. I really want to see this game.

I've got 3-4 channels that show soccer all of the time, but I can't find this one listed anywhere. Is it going to be on TV here or not?

I don't know if you're there on business or pleasure, but if you have access to a US Military base, you might find coverage of the ESPN's or FSC's there.

Off base, good luck. I would think that most of England would be interested with England's (and other Euros) match(es) and could care less about the USA's.

Also, where are you at in England? Perhaps you go to the England NT thread and ask some of the Brits there.

The US v Costa Rica match is one of 32 qualifiers taking place today alone, and although one of the cable channels such as eurosport will undoubtedly pick a game or two to show, the US match doesn't exactly stand out from the crowd as one that people in Europe would want to see.

Sad as it may seem to you, nobody cares about CONCACAF qualifiers here, but hey, if it makes you feel any better, nobody cares about Brazil's qualifiers here either.

You best bet would probably be to find a sports bar in London if you are near there. I think there is one on Leicester Square which has a fair few American customers seeking a fix of sports from home, and I think it's been suggested in the past.

The Italy/Norway match is live on Setanta Residential. Summers should have the match. I hope this helps.

I'm in Manchester. I guess I'll try the phone book and see what I can find. Probably not much, being so close to kick off.

I can't download anything the size of a video for a full match. I'm on dial up over here. Awesome link, though. I'll have to use it when I get home.

The only reason I even hoped it would be on was because they show all kinds of football not related to the UK here. I knew it was longshot. ;)
