Bolivias Jose Afredo Castillo has practiced with a large numbers of teams in europe, but non are willing to pay the amount he wants. He almost landed in Mexico, but he doesnt want to play there.

He doesnt seem to care about the pay anymore, he just wants to play in a quality club in europe.

i am not sure it is what castillo wants..it is the owners of his pass..which i think is owned by four different entities. they wanted about 2.5 million for it or so, but clubs only want a loan to avoid paying that sum. castillo says he will not play in bolivia for the start of the clausura.

At the end of last season Jose Alfredo Castillo, the Bolivian striker was on trial at my club PSV Eindhoven. Since PSV turned him down and he returned to Bolivia i haven't heard anything about him. Can you tell me how he's doing at the moment?

40 goals and counting...he said at the beginning of the clausura, that if he didnt get moved that he would not suit up for oriente..

he has also been followed in the press for his personal life and i think that he would like to get out of bolivia asap.

Castillo is still playing for Oriente Petrolero, as of yesterday. He's scored 7 goals in their last 3 matches.

Well if his only 2 choices are MLS and Mexico he might as well go to league that can pay a decent wage.

ouchhhhhh... I didnt think our league was still percieved as second class down in South America..:(

But at least our funeral league makes money :D and puts up a competitive product on the field. Thats all you can really ask for.

Well...when I can't sleep, I just pull out a few tapes containing Mexican club games...and it's like mother's milk...I'm out COLD...wake up the following day to the songs of birds. To this day, I don't know the results...but hey, I gotta go to work the next day....does it really matter who won?
Seriously, that boring dribbling crap they put out and their girlfight style...no wonder their national team gets embarrassed...their U-20 can't even beat Panama!! Panama!!

Since we're trolling
Say what you want about MLS, R.D.L but the product on the field, although clearly of lesser tallent, is more entertaining to watch.

Where as some MFL teams, Toluca, Azul & Americrap play a good brand of soccer, the rest are just plain boring as hell. no defense, few counters, suspect goalkeeping missed 45 yrds blast into row 93 section D, chippy play, girlie complaining on every call. It's like watching a bad pick up game @ the YMCA.

Why don't you MLS trolls take it to the Rivalries forum? Damn are you people so hard up to troll that you have to come to the Sudamerica forum to talk crap about Mexico?

Considerado la revelación de este campeonato, se transformó de inmediato en titular del más importante club italiano, después de haber jugado dos torneos con el Verona

I personally dont like bunkering. But if thats more ertertaining to you, thats your taste and I respect that. After the America-Puebla game, I tuned on to the MLS Cup final. I thought it was pathetic on NE's part to bunker. For christs sake, you are in the finals my man, and you bunker? I was glad to see Galaxy attack more the second half. Maybe the MLS Cup needs to be thrown out because I have seen about 4 MLS cup games and all of them are bunkerball games. I understand you only have one shot at the title...maybe if they had home and away..teams would risk more.

I personally dont like the way Cruz Azul is playing this year, but they are known to have a good style. There are alot of teams that play attacking style in the funeral league. Santos at home is fun to watch. Morelia is another fun team to watch. Atlas was a fun team to watch for years..hopefully with el sheriff at the head.. they will play that way again.

With the acquisition of more offensive players its natural that the league becomes more offensive rather than defensive. The MFL goalkeeping gets challenged alot due to the attacking style of play.

[flame on]This really isn't an MLS v MFL thread but all MLS championship games are bunkerball fest. The coaches are afraid of losing possession and giving up a breakaway goal. regualr season matches are more open, I'll prob record over the final w/ the Lamar Open Cup on FSWe thursday. Those matches are more fluid since the stakes are lower.

Curious styles I wish my spanish was good enough to understand terra.com w/o getting porn. Those giffs are classic. I recall one where a smiley face jumped off a building. [/flame off]

Back to Castillo.
