I might be in London in March when Arsenal plays at Blackburn. I have a connection with Brad Friedel, so I was going to try to make it up there for the game.

Anyone have any info. or know of a web site with prices, etc. to catch a train from London to Blackburn?

Hiya Slip -

I was checking this out just the other day and a site I thought was pretty useful was this:
http://www.qjump.co.uk/home/index.html

There's also this:
http://www.rail.co.uk/index.html

And this:
http://www.networkrail.com/

But I thought qjump was the best, by far.

You would travel up from Euston, which is about 2 or 3 stops away from Highbury (depending on which way you travel).
"National Rail" you can contact on 011 44 8457 484950
from the USA/Canada.
If you book 3 weeks in advance there is a "Super Apex" far (or something similar), to get the best deal.
I can enquire on a price for you if you wish, if you give me the dates, but train travel is not cheap here.
(When I went London to Cardiff for the "Community Shield" (about 130 miles) it was $60 (U.S.) day return.
Blackburn is about 260 miles.
I think it is cheaper not going on a Friday or Saturday, so plan your trip wisely if "budgeting".

Thanks Jeff, I'll keep you updated and make sure to ask you any questions if they arise.
