None of that will spoil my high.
1. We don't expect to win the premiership. We just hope to survive.
2. If it wasn't for the rich ruski mafia Don Chelsea would definately have gone into administration.
3. If Wigan had gone up via the playoffs the small minded p--rick wouldn't be such a small minded p--rick.
4. I saw the Bolton game and yes J J scored a cracker. However Bolton did a lot of the niggle throughout the game. They were lucky to be on level terms when j j scored. I suggest the whining person goes back to watching the sport of vankers. Rugby League.

I should imagine that in reality at least 14 premiership teams should be 15/8 on for relegation.

I'm still on my high too, but I can't let the Bolton thing pass without a comment. They've got a bit of a nerve talking about being whingers, when the King of Whinge, Mr. Allardyce himself is in charge.
Just to prove that this is not just tit-for-tat, I think his managerial qualities are impressive - to have got Bolton into Europe is a great achievement. I just think if he could cut his moaning out I'd have total respect for him.

A case of 'criticise the people you fear the most' here I think. If West Ham were as insignificant and small a club as these people would have us believe then they wouldn't even be thinking about us, let alone take time to write such articles.
A HammerScout style list follows:
1. The William Hill link was firewalled because I am at work and will get my knuckles rapped for gambling instead of working even though I wasn't and never do. *inhale*
But no OBE's for guessing what it said. Something about how West Ham are now 1 kagillion/1 non favourites to win the PL?
2. We should keep the Chelsea link for about a year (someone bookmark it). I have a feeling this chap may eat his words a bit when Chelsea don't win the PL title this season (and when we do better against Chelsea than he expects). Wenger is gutted about not winning it and Fergie has £100m to spend on players and he too is not a happy bunny about the way things are right now.
"...Carling Cup, another trophy we won last season. Didn't we beat you en-route to the final?"
He's such a keen follower he's not even sure!! He has to ask us about who Chelsea played.
Yes Chelsea barely beat this so called "small club" 1-0 plus a missed penalty by this mighty star and "Football Writers Player of the Year" Frank Lampard. Add to that a close shave at the end when AF hit the post looking for an equaliser. Not much of a performance from a team who are "Premiership champions", a "fine club", "first in English football's top flight" and Carling Cup winners.
Needs a lesson in humility this chap I think. Unless EG has changed allegiances...?
3. This guy does not have a problem with us. It's the playoff system he doesn't like. He can't blame us because we played the game against them and drew 1-1. If they had won one more game they probably would have made it.
I don't like the playoff system anymore than the next person but you've got to use what you've got.
4. One sided stories are always unreliable sources of information. There's no smoke without fire and, similarly, non violent people don't turn violent without provocation.
Bolton were very much a kick and run team then and probably still are. All except Okocha who is world class, the only thing that kept them up was having Allardyce as manager.
We don't blame Bolton for our relegation just like Wigan shouldn't blame us for their missing the playoffs last season. But this is a very disrespectful way for a fan to talk about us, especially considering we have no rivalries with Bolton.
The match in question was a one off heated relegation clash and our players behaved very out of character. I am sure they were taunted and provoked. The odd elbow here, clip of the heels there. We see teams do it all the time but I hate this sort of game.
Again humility is required here and Bolton are on my list of teams who will crash and burn in the next few seasons.
