Canada is playing in Tripoli on Feb 12th against Libya, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about the Libyan national team. Where do the players play etc...

I believe many of the players play in clubs in their own country. Recently, they were on a 3 game winning streak (including a 3:2 win over DR Congo in the CAN 2004 qualifiers) but just lost a tough match to Swaziland 2:1. I'm sorry but there is little info about them on the web.

lol That's the only site I found too. For some reason some of the links on that site didn't work.
On a side note, I find it rather interesting that there is so much news on Asian and CONCACAF teams on the web, but not African when that confederation is getting the most spots allocated for the WC currently than either of those 2 confederations. Just seems weird.
