With a bit of luck and new players brought in the team can get it's title back.

I've read varying reports on the money Strachan will have to spend, but it looks like it might not be much. I predict a rebuilding year, even with Bellamy and/or Robbie Keane possibly coming.

All they need is a few quality players and take one more game off of rangers next season and everything should be
back to normal at CP.

I think it should be a walk in the park in regards to regaining the SPL title. Winning the treable is a bit of a stretch. Its a long and grueling season and one slip on cup play and your done. Personally I will think its a succesful season with the SPL Title in hand and having played 10 CL games. Just getting out of the GP stage in CL will be worth the lesser trophy's.

Yes getting a long run in the CL would be better both financially and image
wise for the club. If we do get in the CL proper, a nice easy draw for a
change would be nice as well. Bring on the next season.

A walk in the park  Strachan has only ever been in charge of teams were it's ok to draw or lose now and again.... like at Southampton, were the fans expect to draw or lose sometimes. It's totally different in Scotland, were if you lose or draw just one game the fans and media are on your back... so I feel that he will struggle in his first season, a bit like Alex Mcleish.

Rangers For the Treble nexy year..... || Easy... Easy... Easy... Easy ||

Rangers won the treble in McLeish's first full season...

I do agree with some of what you're saying though. Strachan will need to adapt quickly.

Ohh, and haven't Glasgow Rangers (the champions of Scotland) won more trophies than any other proffesional football/soccer if you will, in quite indeed the whole world.

any gloating over trophy totals in SPL should be tempered by the fact that for a very long period of time, the old firm has lacked any competition. the situation is, to put it mildly, abnormal. truth is, at this time neither Celtic nor Rangers are anything to brag about.
to the earlier posters, situation for an old firm manager is very tough. the closest American comparison might be Boston with Red Sox fans who are very intense and demanding. I'm a strong Celtic supporter, but I really felt sorry for McLeish at times this season. There is a set of ranger fans who just seem to have it in for him. One goal has kept them at bay, for the time being anyway.

But our 1 European Cup win is worth 10 times your 51 SPL titles,
anyone can win the SPL, only Great teams win the European Cup. :D :D :D

That's why Rangers would have won it if the manky French mob hadn't fixed the matches. But anywho, I don't really care because Rangers are the best team in Scotland at the present which is the most important thing.

Would have won it....? Highly unlikely but the fact remains you didn't or never will win it. Celtic is still the best team in Scotland by miles mate,
we handed you the title you didn't win it.
