This was the prelims. Still another round before the top OSL teams enter the fray which is something that tends to cause resentment among the top non-OSL clubs that play in district leagues in places like Windsor, London and Ottawa:-

Maybe the winner should play the winner of the CPSL Regular season or Cup or even the "Canada Cup" since all the teams are base from Ontario?

Would be good if the CPSL were able to just enter the Ontario Cup and therefore if one of them were to win it participate in the existing National Championships as well rather than having a money tournament run by a provincial professional league on long weekends masquerading as something it is not i.e. a Canadian national championship. Problem is the Ontario Cup is only for senior competitive amateur teams (got to give the smaller provinces a chance ;)) and has not been designated by the OSA and CSA as being open to teams that sign players on professional registration forms.

what i think they should do is winners of top amater leagues in each prov...play for a cup(like champions cup)and winners from each prov... go at it.keep in mind that not all teams enter the prov... cups(like ontario cup,alberta cup,etc..) or even the canada cup for that matter.I,VE seen alot of good teams knocked out of these cups because of one bad game,i just think it takes a season to make a champion not 4 or 5 games,if u play in the o.s.l you win 3 or 4 games in the ont... cup and your in the ontario cup finals,thats all it takes to be ontario cup champion.oh well thats just my thought
