Hibs got Michael Stewart from Man Utd. Stewart had recently completed a loan spell at *gasp* Hearts!

Riordan is supposedly upset about being transfer listed, but apparently not upset enough to sign. No idea how this will turn out.

Is Easton any good? We offered him a deal, he's more likely to go to St. Johnstone though.

I rate him quite highly and there were quite a lot of people very disappointed when he was allowed to leave. He is a good SPL player, so would easily become a key player for a lower league team.

We are back to Scottish players pricing themselves out of the market.

That's true. I don't think any club outside Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and the OF should be paying over £1000 a week on wages. Yet guys like McIness at Dundee Utd are getting paid £4000. Demands are too high yet clubs will still pay that money, crazy IMO.
Although I still don't like these sub-standard foriengers coming over here when young Scottish players wouldn't do much worse, if worse at all in many cases. It's good to get guys like Sauzee, Latapy, Fernandez, Andrews, Neimi and the like playing in the SPL but there are many more who I wish didn't come, like when Dundee Utd brought in about a dozen latin americans just to realise they were awful and chuck them back out.

We have luckily done quite well in regard to bringing in good foreigners. Some of the ones currently on trial have good backgrounds and should be an asset to the SPL. We have a good youth system but given the age of our club, they just aren't quite ready yet. They will no doubt be used at some stage during the season but will not be able to cope with a full season yet.

I heard a rumour that Killmarnock is interested in Jaime Dodds brother of Rhian. He currently plays for my local side Toronto Lynx, and is a very good player. He has very good set pieces.
