Malaga stuck it to Sevilla. (SEV 0 MGA 2)
A 46K town (with lotsa money tho) makes it to the Champions. No more "your town has X amount of people..." (VR 4 LEV 1)
Forlan is the Pichichi. Hello Real Madrid????
Betis makes it after a poor start back in September (1-1 tie with Mallorca). Yeah! Assuncao you dog!
Levante goes down... to my surprise. Yet Getafe stays... huh?
Going up it looks like Alaves, Celta... and CADIZ Ese Cai Oe...

Its really amazing how Levante fell apart in the season's second half. Early on it looked like they may even compete for a UEFA Cup spot.
Would be great to see Cadiz in La Liga given how they've struggled in the lower divisons but its not over yet. 3 weeks to go and both Recreativo and Eibar are only 3 points back.
Also did Valencia sign up for Intertoto? If not then they don't get to play at all in Europe next year. Very disappointing for their players.

You may have wanted to throw an [R] in the thread title and left out Villareal and Betis, but I don't have Gol TV anymore, so I'm not upset.
Glad Mallorca was able to stick it out. Great end-of-season form. They looked dead in the water a month ago. Levante really took a nose dive!
Congrats to Villareal and Betis. Of those still competing for the spots, I was hoping they'd make it.
I still hope Eibar makes it to the top division.

Congrats to the Yellow Submarine and Forlan for stealing Pichichi from Eto'o :(
i would love to see Joaquin playing for Betis in the Champions League next season.
if he stays with Betis, that is.

Why would he want to play in the CL with the Ugly Green when he can play to win the CL with Real Madrid?

bc with the way Real has been playing in the CL for the last two years, he has probably the same chance of winning with Betis :p
