After last nights match against the Metros, I was under the stadium with Danza, and we were discussing old banners that are still in the crates down there. Some of the crates have water in them, but I still believe that some banners can be salvaged. They're wet and in poor condition, but I think that if we can get 5-6 people down there next Saturday during the bye week and before the US-Costa Rica game, we can look things over.

Along with this, time could be spent repairing the jersey flag which has not gone up yet this season. I talked with Mike after the game and he expressed interest in possibly pulling it up for the match against Colorado.

We tried putting up our traditional banners, but they didn't stay. We did make the "Go Bill" one that will go up next match. We now have three flags in the section, which is definitely a plus. The Crew/V-Army flag, the pirate flag, and the checkered flag. Starting to look good!

I'll go down next Saturday for an hour or two to help with the banners. I think that the 'end would look great showered in banners. Your thoughts...

Problem is, it's not a bye week. Gates open at 6:30 for Crew - Universidad Catholica. Kickoff is at 7:30. USA - CR WCQ will be shown at approximately 9:30 PM in the stadium club.

I'd support the Colorado game based on ticket sales. Judging by the number of people in 136-138 for the past few games, we may not be doing it for a while. We can pull it up without the people, but it'll look like crap. I suggested the DC game since that usually gets an attendance bump.

yeah, it was really funny looking at the beginning of the match yesterday. We were there in the middle, a few others(very few) scattered around, but NOTHING else.

yes, I'm suure that's the reason that nobody was there in the stadium.

I won't be there for the Colorado game, but I can still go through the old banners and see what we can salvage.

A lot of the ones that Wittler and I saved a while ago, weren't there when we went looking for them at like the second match.
