hello to all football fans worldwide from glasgow.
i'm knew to the site and was fascinated by the chivas usa and celtic comparisons.
firstly let me say to whomever replied to this story talking of politics and hatred that don't let a minority of hateful bigoted supporters cloud judgement of the majority of good celtic fans.
and although celtic is highly supported in Ireland, there are just as many fans in scotland so don't think we are supported by just immigrants into the country.
celtic football club was set up to support the immigrant workers coming in from Ireland but as the world develops and football itself develops time changes and clubs change. the celtic faithful can travel anywhere worldwide and come back knowing that we do no harm to our reputation.
and we welcome any team and it's fans to glasgow with open arms. thanks for reading .

Hey,
I met several Celtic fans in Seattle a few years back when Manchester United played them in a friendly. The Celtic fans were cool, even if they bashed the MLS. Their support runs deep and that is worth respect.
