The Sims Demo

Anyone know where I can get a demo of The Sims?

I dont really wanna buy it without playing it, and it doesnt look like coming down in price any time soon.

While Im at it, anyone know of any other good demos I can get, or any other games that are free to download and arent crap?

Not sure about the Sims, but go to www.gigex.com and cilck the downloads link. There are a lot of demo's you can play. The demo's are very large files, though. They will download at about 40kpbs on 56k and about 400kbps on Cable. Very good site.
