also, came back from the abyss vs olympiakos, dodgy offside vs juve, dodgy goal and lampard's miss vs chelsea and vs milan dodgy offside, comeback and ended up winning on penalties.

i think that it was destiny

Like I said in the Milan forum, if I had to forfeit the trophy to someone else, I'd prefer it be Liverpool.

They earned it with great inspiration.

It was all to do with Benitez. If Houllier was still there, Liverpool would not have even made it past the first or second round.

I'll put it this way. Your theory is a massive coincidence.

The sad thing is, AC Milan chocked badly. Credit to Liverpool for coming back but after what happened against Deportivo last year and what happened against PSV in the semi-finals, it didn't really surprise me that AC Milan fell apart.
