since it's an "uefa and europe" forum, the list will include just european winning sides:that includes club sides which have won the CL and National sides which have won the EC.but it will include also the hungarian team of 52',and the Nigerian team of 96',becouse they won the olimpic gold medaills.like in my previous threads,I would ask you to vote for the greatest ever 10 european winning sides.not more and not less than 10.
so,start voting dudes...

First, i think it is not possible to compare club and national teams.
but i have to go with germany 1972, best german team ever and went on to win wc 74, next one probaly the netherlands 88 with gullit and van basten.
teams: the great real madrid team from 56-60, next one milan of 89 and 90, thought about including munich 74-76 but they won during this span not their domestic league (all titles went to gladbach). so they are out

Benfica's 1961 and 1962 teams should be on this list. They won the European Championship two years in a row.

That's true, and I believe aside from R. Madrid, they're the only ones that
won consecutive titles. FC Porto with two titles could also made the list(maybe?).
