On Bram Weinstein's (local DC talk radio host/Redskins beat reporter on SportsTalk 980) Show on Wednesday he opened with about 5 minutes on soccer, DC United (he's been to a couple of games) and how Malcom Glazer was buying ManU. Bringing up the global vs. local (US) nature of our sports franchises. Probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, as it was a mostly positive commentary on soccer in the USA, but I'm just wondering what started off his comments as I missed about the first minute or so.
