ESPN cut out the first 5 minutes of the second half of their prime-time replay of the Champion's league final! How dare they!

I'm so sick of being opressed like this!

....so can we give credit where credit is due this time? Good production all around. While they werent upstaging the NBA playoffs or anything to play this game, they did manage to put the world series of poker and stump the schwab on hold for a few hours. Very impresssed with how ESPN did here.

...

My son accidently turned off the vcr. I was checking it when I got home from work. I turned to ESPN2, and, viola, they were reshowing it. I hit the record button, and now I have the second half, OT, and PKs.

THANKS, ESPN! :)

and the advertisments on the crawl are popping up every time. Watch the replay on classic because well...its a classic. Boost those ratings. ESPN usually doesn't show a soccer game 3 times in 2 days. Not for its health.

espn at least recognized what that had with this game being that special and spectacular. It almost brought a tear to my eye when i heard a couple dozen students and faculty talking about the game today

Does anyone know how they've been (or not been) covering the Glazer/ManU news?? If they are, what commentaries or opinions have they given???

My son who is rarely in touch with the world, much less the soccer world, called last night, and asked I watched the awesome game. Thankfully, I had. :)

I hurried home after a meeting to watch the match, recorder malfunction in the 39th minute.

We don't get ESPN Classic. Still haven't seen it. :(

I'm hoping to beg for a copy of the tape from a friend. Still, it's not the same when the outcome is known.

Not sure about the Television coverage/commentary, but they have run a commentary on ESPN Radio. The commentary pretty much said: Rumor has it that Glazer was once spotted cheering for the wrong team from the Tampa Bay Bucaneers owners box. He doesn't care about American football either, but he does care about a successful business investment and in sports that means a successful product on the field. So all the protesting fans should just let Malcolm do what Malcolm does best and in the end they'll probably be rather pleased with the results.

Now, if they'd cut out the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half, then you'd have a real complaint! :-)

this actually got some play time on pardon the interruption as well as around the horn so they have covered it a little
