Well, that season pretty much sucked for us. No silverware, accolades for our rivals, and the club is now in the hands of a megalomaniacal psychopath who makes Kim Jong Il look sane and whose goal for our club is to squeeze out every last penny in the hopes that the weight of said tender will help lower his hiked-up pants.

Here's to looking forward, and there is indeed plenty to look forward to. Two of the most exciting young players in Europe, a phenomenally sound defense, and a healthy, fearsome strikeforce that will combine to recapture the glory days of lo, two seasons ago (;)).

But until then, what are you planning to do? Getting your soccer fix in other ways? Maybe following along with the tabloids, and the latest rumors of Brad and Ange--er, player transfers? Or maybe you'll just dig yourself into a nice little hole, and come out for sunlight only when the fixture lists do.

What!? No 'working in the days, getting ********ed up at nights, sleeping in work the next day, waking up & getting ********ed up again that night' option? It ain't a poll if there's not at least 2 F-bombs (Fombs?) in one of the options...

(and it ain't a pole if there's no woman on the end of it... whether that be a pole or someone's pole)

I like billy's plan.....think I'll do the same. And with those few minutes of sober consciousness each day, I will frantically follow every transfer rumor.

Sorted.

I'm getting married near the end of June, so that will keep me busy....

Motter, scheduled, I assume, so as not to conflict with the Season.

Oh, I was more than flexible... she had a choice - honeymoon in Manchester if we got married during the season, or a Carribbean cruise if we got married in the summer. She picked summer. (unfortunately) :D

Well, looking back on it, it's probably a good thing...

Congrats Motter!
As I've now got a baseball team in DC to root for I'll be following them throughout the summer, along with catching some DC United games, World Cup Qualifying, etc. As I've said before, I'll grudgingly follow some of the transfer specualtion... ;)

I'll be watching our youth on the summer tour and the confed cup and all the other Summer footy stuff. I need my fix of footy..it's the only game I care about....i'd go insane without it for 8weeks. Yes, I am an addict :)

I'll also be hoping we by some miracle oust Glazer...and get us a nice tidy set of players this summer.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Motter.

Just as long as the ball and chain doesn't dent his allegiances to MUFC. :D

Just kidding, best of luck. Will there be a webcam like Ruud had for his wedding? ;)

I'm sweating it out in an exam hall.

Reminds me of the time we were literally sweating it out in an exam hall. 95F outside, about 98% humidity, and the A/C was broken. Triple integrations became that much harder to do in that situation. Ah, college...

Yep, reminds me of Ireland...

We had SUN today! It's the first time I've seen any blue in th sky for about 5 days. Mind you, it's gone great again... oh well, there's always tomorrow!
