PSG on Kalou
l'équipe 24/05/2005
While PSG president Pierre Blayau is preparing to confirm Laurent Fournier as coach for next season, the Paris team's recruiting staff has reportedly met with Auxerre offensive midfielder Bonaventure Kalou.
Announced as an end of season departure, the 27 year old Ivorian is much sought after. PSG has made him one of their recruiting priorities, and is waiting for the the Cup final (Auxerre-Sedan june 4) to make an offer to the burgundian club. Kalou also being closely followed by Lyon and Marseille. The latter is very interested in signing him, and he has not hidden his interest in playing there.
PSG also hopes to sign a big striker who can score with his head off the pinpoint crosses of Jérôme Rothen. Emmanuel Adebayor of Monaco has the ideal profile. It appears that the player would love the move, but his club is not keen on reinforcing a direct opponent for the top places in the table.
Finally, PSG should sign Lille's right midfielder Christophe Landrin very soon. A contrat for the next three seasons has been offeredAlso looking for a full-back, Czech international David Rozenhal (FC Bruges) is a player PSG is after. Also courted by Troyes (in L1 next season), the young defender could be put on loan.

Elano ( from Santos), Galvão (from Paraná) or Tuta (from Coritiba)...all Brazilian, all solid skillful strikers.
On defense I'd go after Boldizsar Bodor, from Dutch club Roda JC to partner Mario Yepes.

Elano is at Shakhtar. I doubt with the fat contract Akhmetov has given him in January he will move any time soon.
;)
btw: Nice avatar. :)

ljuboja28,
Welcome to the PSG Forum! Great to have you. Post often, have fun, and remember to wear a cup....lol.
PSG need lots of talent. Anyone that is willing to play at PSG with heart and want to be there in the capital would be a good start.

Dhorasoo joins PSG’s target list (http://www.soccerway.com/news/full/?page=details&area=1117019162)
PARIS, May 25 (SW) – According to French newspaper ‘L’Equipe’, PSG would have made of AC Milan and France international midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo their top transfer priority.
The former Lyon midfielder, who left Gerland to land a dream move to San Siro last summer, would be willing to make a return to his native country, after having spent most of the season on the Milanese bench, in order to boost his chances to take part in Germany’s 2006 World Cup.
After a disappointing season including a more-than-average mid-table position in the table this term, PSG would be looking to make changes for the season to come, with Dhorasoo joining the likes of Bonaventure Kalou, Roque Santa Cruz, and Walter Pandiani on the club’s target list...

Yes........
I like. Him on the right and JR on the left would be a good combo.
Ideal signing for me. :)

Rothen's problem is that he is under too much pressure playing in a media hot spot like Paris. He needs out of France to turn things around.

dhorasoo was a BIG crowd pleaser here, and one of my personal favorites too.
but watch out! OL let him go because he's not the best influence in the dressing room, and i think PSG already has a problem there.
besides, don't let his boyish looks fool you: he's 32.

He's like a manboy. And how old is Yepes? He looks waaaaay older than his years.

Dhorasso didnt start or get off bench in the Champions League final. This kinda shows where PSG is compared to Milan on the world scale. Milan has internationals starting at every position and on the bench and PSG can only get their scraps that they dont want. Sad but true.

Of course it does. We will never supass Milan. They were winning European Cups before we were founded.

Yeah and its not fair because the reality is that Paris is a larger and wealthy city than Milan is but in the football world that doesnt mean s**t. Its sad but Milan is a bigger football town that Paris is they support 2 large teams there.

So true. I just don't get it. The French produce tons of damn fine footballers, but Paris is not a stronghold of French talent and European contention.....shakin my head across The Pond.

Bonaventure Kalou wants to come to PSG and PSG want him. Guy Roux doesnt like to sell good players to other French teams but now he is gone so Kalou's chances of coming will increase. I would pay 8-10 million for him and no more than that,

That would set up an Ivorian clash of titans if Drogba returns to Marseille.
