Thanks for the schedules....
I'm happy FSC has some matches but it's a little too Scot-centric for the June matches since they are practically in the tank.
It would have been nice to see Portugal/Slovakia / Ireland/Israel / Turkey/Greece on Saturday...some matches with much importance but I suppose FSC only had so many matches to choose from with some of these probably ending up on PPV in some fashion.
Wednesday doesn't have such marquee matches and Finland/Netherlands is probably the best so congrats to FSC on that one. Greece/Ukraine might have been a nice addition.
Yeah, I've mentioned Greece matches twice...don't knock on their style...Scotland isn't much better! :)

It may be Scot-centric for a reason: the Scotland games are not desirable. That's why you can watch them for free (after paying your cable bill). Scotland sucks.

Well, the games you want to watch are more desirable. That's how it would end up: you have to PAY to watch them:

Geez, aren't these greedy bastards easy to figure out? The games that most people want (yet not enough to warrant the advertising model, a la the NBA/NFL/MLB), then you have to pay.

In Setanta's point of view, the $20 bill you hand over to the pub to watch Greece/Ukraine is nice too...

Of course not, Greece is one of the teams Setanta lock up. Obviously interests in Greece warrant Setanta to offer them in close-circuit...

The last set of international dates did bring us Netherlands on the road at Romania when Romania still had some hope and there was France on the road against Israel. These were on FSC and not on PPV so matches with intrigue are possible on FSC...just seems like the usual countries on PPV are in the big games this June therefore they are not on FSC.

You do realise that:
A) News Corporation has more money than God and can easily afford to show all soccer and rugby on FSC, but..
B) Flog them off to Setanta for a fee?

That's because the FAs of Greece, Turkey, Croatia and England signed deals with Setanta. That's why you have the WCQ of the same countries on Setanta again and again.
Setanta used to have Scotland in its inventory, apparently no longer...

The English FA signed a deal (for home games) with FSC, who put their weekend games on PPV.
The games FSC is showing were licensed from Setanta, so I presume Setanta still has Scottish rights but would rather take the money then show the game themselves.
