Ask & you shall receive. This is the news that I got from the Official FCK site (http://www.fck.de/aktuell/news/allgemein/2005/05/reuter_220505.php). Check it out. Oh Yeah, it's in Deutsche. You can use the Babel Fish from Alta Vista (http://babelfish.altavista.com/). It's a kewl tool, just like the one from The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy.

I just saw this on the FCK site. It's the transfer market, since there will be a lot of activity, I guess the club is trying to help fans.

Coming:
Axel Bellinghausen (Fortuna Düsseldorf), Torsten Reuter (1. FC Saarbrücken), Ervin Skela (Arminia Bielefeld)

Leaving:
Dimitrios Grammozis (1. FC Köln), Tim Wiese (Werder Bremen)

Mika Nurmela, Hany Ramzy, Bill Tchato, Selim Teber, Patrick Wittich (all w/ destinations unknown)

Die Roten Teufel just signed a guy from Club Al Ain of UAE. His name is Boubacar Sanogo , who is from the Ivory Coast. I hope he isn't like D. Drogba for Chelsea. I have never seen this cat play, but I will give him a chance, especially w/ Côte d'Ivoire so close in qualifying for the Big Dance next year.

Already covered in the other transfer thread. The one everyone else is using now........

BTW, you'd better hope he's like Drogba. Especially with Amanatidis having left for Frankfurt today!!

Has any one heard anything about new players over the winter break? Specifically defenders to plug the sieve in the back.

Perhaps Markus Babbel or Boris Zivkovic from Stuttgart,
both want to leave the VfB.
But it´s only a rumor.

But could we afford them?

I´ve heard that they will buy two more players. A "number 6" - maybe Nekounam and a defender.

you could afford Zivkovic easy, but he's a bit of an underperformer in my opinion and he's pretty old by now.

Babbel has been horrible this season but he was solid last year so if you get him back to form he could be an EXCELLENT buy. I personally would like to see Babbel stay for our squads depth, but if he wants to go he wants to go. I don't think, with all respect, that he'd pick 1. FCK though.

I think Kaiserslautern could use all the help the can get. Zivkovic is a step up from what they have, although they should have kept Knavs, he's a quality defender still in Salzburg.
