We are not posting on this thread as a protest to the Colt like removal of our subforum.

Were you protesting against the subforum too?

It got removed because there wasn't enough participation and the kid who was the driving force behind getting it established in the first place unfortunately passed away.

Hertha, Bremen, Hamburg, Schalke, 1860, Hannover, Koeln, Stuttgart, Leverkusen all deserve a forum over Kaiserslautern. And none of them have it - so i'd agree with footyfan and tell you to go figure...

And the only reason Kaiserslautern is in a promotion spot(or was before tonight) is 'cause of Hajnal :D

I wish nothing against Kaiserslauten, it would be nice to see them back in the Bundesliga. But i don't see that happening this season.

...and because of Macho, Beda, Reinert and Daham.
Hajnal is for sure one of the top 5 players in this league.

The reason why Kaiserslautern will reach promotion is that all of the top teams have to play IN Kaiserslautern after the winter break (KSC, Rostock, 1860, Duisburg and Cologne). My wish for x-mas is a new striker and a defender for the left side.

Striker Benni Auer (25) joins FCK on loan. I don`t like this guy
A new defender (to replace injured Fabian Schoenheim) will be introduced tomorrow.

I don't either. All talk, no action. One of Germany's biggest wastes of talent in recent memory.

However, because I like FCK, I will hope Wolfgang Wolf is the one coach who can get Auer to take his head out of his ass.......

Is Schoenheim out the rest of the season? I forget. Thanks.

I think even with his injury, some bigger clubs are going to come after him.

Unfortunately he won`t play again this season. The same with Aimen Demai. Lautern picked up Silvio Meissner to replace him.

I think even with his injury, some bigger clubs are going to come after him.

All the young players (Schoenheim, Halfar, Reinert, Bohl etc.) have long contracts with FCK so the club will at least receive some money if one of them leaves.

If this happened really the way it´s desribed in the article,
then it´s a scandal and there must be consecuences.

But curious is, that i could find nothing about it in the web
except this article.

A week or so ago, there was a lengthy article in a local BC newspaper which featured a parent of another player represented by the same agent. He had nothing but praise for the agent and FC Kaiserslautern in his dealings with them.
I think the young player the original scandal was centred around was partly to blame as he did not excel on the field. Any Cdn is going to have to be very impressive to be kept on a Bundesliga squad, youth or not.

Another new red devil:
Grégory Vignal (RC Lens) signs with FCK.

@CanuckFan: Do you remember the name of the player?

The player that I first posted about (Marinko Maras) had described his time in Kaiserslautern to be a terrible ordeal with his agent not providing what was promised in a newspaper article dated Sept 5, 2006.

The agent (Dr. Andreas Kirsch) contacted a newspaper in British Columbia to refute the players' claims and the reporter also spoke to another parent of a Cdn player (Jonathan Bourgault - a Cdn U20 international at FC St Pauli) represented by the agent to get his views. The article can be found here:

Thank you for the article.
I wonder if the parents of the St. Pauli Player know that St. Pauli (or the "Kiez") is the biggest red light district in europe :D

Me too! It is hard to talk about 1FCK when you don't get to see any games. :(

Like I told the guys on the FCK e-mail list, stranger things have happened in the 2. Liga than a fourth placed team, five points out of third place, seemingly down and out, willing themselves into the top three with 39 points still left to play for.

We don't know that the top three will stay as hot as they are.

We don't know that FCK won't catch fire, a la Freiburg (Who the f#ck will say they saw THAT coming?) and sneak into the top three?

I think there's too much still left to play for to start making assumptions already.

Shit. If that's the case, why don't we just hand Scheisse 04 the Bundesliga title already?

I have highlights sent to me. The files are pretty big, so I would have to upload them somewhere. Let me work on that.

It must be a God sent to have the highlights sent to you! Tough 0-0 draw today gegen Koblenz. :( I still have hope that we will return next year. Last time we returned we won big. :)
