I prefer not to think too much about such things. The Köln fans that I know are all wonderful people and knowledgeable about the game. I'm not going to let a small minority distort my perception and ruin a day of celebration.
Right on!! The Koln and FCK fans I know are great too.

I've just seen a clip. Terrible scenes  ... instead of having a common party.
I heard that members of the "famous" Wilde Horde from Köln started attacking celebrating Lautern fans on the pitch (kids & women among them) ...
There were several Saarbrucken and Manheim fans mixed in with the Koln fans and they caused a lot of problems too.

Canadian Patrice Bernier is gone.
He's moving to Danish top division club FC Nordsjaelland.
According to this "kicker" article, (http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2bundesliga/startseite/artikel/380142) he's signed a three year contract with them.

Put Mathias Abel is moving to Lautern...;)

"Kicker" reports that Martin Amedick has been sold to 1. FC Kaiserslautern of the 2nd Bundesliga. (http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2bundesliga/startseite/artikel/380540)
A great move for Amedick and FCK. Amedick will get the time he needs to grow there and teaming up with former Schalke prospect Matthias Abel, FCK should have one of the best young central defenses in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Neither club would reveal the transfer fee, but with FCK being in serious financial trouble, I doubt the fee was even 0.5M.
Probably somewhere between 250,000 and 500,000.

I`m getting nervous now. Only defenders and midfielders.
The defence wasn`t bad last season. I can`t understand why they spent money to replace e.g. Schoenheim and Ouattara with Amedick and Abel?
I want at least two strikers.

I thought Amedick and Abel are replacing Ouattara and Beda??
Schönheim will probably be moved back out to the wing.
And either way you look at it, Amedick and Abel are UPGRADES. You always upgrade your team when you can.
You can have two strikers if you can give FCK the money to actually afford them. BVB gave FCK a great deal for Amedick.
However, you aren't going to get very good strikers for what the club can actually afford. It's not like good strikers are going to demand to go to a club that barely avoided relegation out of the 2nd Bundesliga last season.
Be patient. As the transfer market works itself out, I'm sure they'll pick up a striker or two on free transfers.

Let's hope FCK can call Villareal & get J. Altidore for a loan deal. That could work out.

FCK received my money. I paid my season ticket 3 weeks ago.
Now they just have to find the new miro klose for less than 400 euros a year:D
I thought that Kaiserslautern should be able to get e.g. Türker, Thorgelle or Bancè. But now it`s to late for those guys.

Be patient. Kuntz found guys like Gekas and Sestak who not many people had heard of before they joined VfL Bochum.
Türker and Bancè went to clubs they believe will be in the thick of the promotion battle. Torgelle followed his keeper to Augsburg and I do know that while Holger Fach is a horrible coach, he does "speak the players' language......"
Dude, people look at FCK and see a club that barely avoided relegation to the 3rd Bundesliga. No one of any rich talent is going to break down Stefan Kuntz' door to play in Kaiserslautern.
But give Kuntz time. He'll find someone good enough who will be ready and willing to put FCK back on the map.

Lautern signed croatian STRIKER (Yeah!) Srdjan Lakic (24) from Hertha BSC.
It seems the club is interested in Sidney Sam (HSV) and Marcel Heller (SGE) too.
Kuntz also managed to get a better contract with long time sponsor "Karlsberg" because an other brewerie (Bitburger??) tried to outbid them. Good job, Stefan!

I guess the draw w/ Mainz is a good start, especially after being down 3-0 in the first half. Team is showing some heart & spirit in the club (http://www.rojadirecta.com/foros/viewtopic.php?t=45721), but will it be enough to return back to the 1st Bundesliga???

Dude. Slow your role. This is a club that was less than a step from the f#cking 3rd Bundesliga and you're here talking about promotion to the 1st Bundesliga?
Shit man, you'd better be hoping for between 6th and 14th.
They will be better, but promotion? I f#cking doubt it.

Excuse me, but did you even see where I said that FCK was returning??? Nope, I asked a rhetorical question. But you can jump on your high ********ing horse and assume that I previously stated that. I was just trying to start some discussion about FCK. Thanks for participating :D

The partial story below says FCK picked up two new players for this season. They got 25 year-old midfielder Dragan Paljic from Hoffenheim and 20 year-old striker Sidney Sam from HSV.
Paljic was a purchase. He signed a four-year contract with FCK. Paljic holds dual German and Serbian citizenship. Paljic scored 20 goals in 19 2. Liga, 77 Regionalliga and 23 Oberliga appearances for Hoffenheim.
Sam is a loan for this season. He is also a Germany U-20 international. Sam has been with HSV since 2004 and has made 46 Regionalliga appearances (with 8 goals) and 4 Bundesliga appearances (all last season) for HSV.

Very impressive performance tonight!
Was a very exciting game, FCK fought like crazy, I really like what Sasic seems to have done with this side.
