FCK lost the Abstiegsduell in Osnabrück 0:2 and will be facing hard times hence.

A win against Hoffenheim (please beat them!) seems to be compulsory now...

We are done for. I would love to beat Hoffenheim but I really don't see this as realistic. I shall be researching how S.S.C. Napoli was reborn and dreaming of better days. :(

Some people in Kaiserslautern's management are assuring the fans that the cash situation is under control enough for them to get a license for the new 3rd Bundesliga.
So, I hope it is the truth. I hope FCK will not go under.

K'town can go down as far as I am concerned, until they sack the useless trainer Sasic. He tried to fine Simpson for reporting late to practice last week, after the Cdn had played in Estonia the evening before, then relegated him to the amateur squad (where he set up the first and scored the 2nd and 3rd) on the weekend.

So, what I gather here is that you think Sasic is "useless" because he apparently has something against a Canadian player??
I think it makes him a prejudicial asshole, but not "useless."

Can I call him a 'useless asshole' then? There is more than his treatment of one player. Picked these bits up from a Cdn soccer forum:
1. He tried to fine Josh Simpson 2000 euros for not being in training on Thursday. He said the game was on Wednesday so he should have been in training on Thursday. Josh told him that he had all the paper work on his travel iteniary before he left for the Estonia game and that if he had a problem with it he should have said something before he left so he was not going to pay any fine. The coach lost it and sent him down.
2. Patrice Bernier got sent down to the second team after he had a issue with the coach over his weight. The coach said 4 guys were to fat to be a professional, Patrice being one of them. (By the way Patrice came first in all the fitness training - based on ear piercing latic acid tests) Ten days later Patrice made weigh in which seemed to upset the coach. Then Pat ate to prepare for the game. The coach then decided to do another weigh in. Pat was over. The coach lost it and told Patrice to go upstairs and cancel his contract. Patrice said no that he was happy with his contract. The coach lost it even worse and told Pat to go down to the second team.
3. And on top of his treatment of the Cdn players, this gem:
The coach or trainer as they call him is Milan Sasic. Since he has been there (which is about 8 weeks) he has sent 4 players down to the second team, fired the bus driver, the cook, one groundsman, three team doctors, the mentality coach and fined the players over 35,000 euros.
Sounds like Sasic would make a fine commandant of a Gulag, but is an idiot as a coach.
Things are not all good at K Town.

Don't think so. There's still a chance if you finally start winning your home games in that great stadium!
I would love to beat Hoffenheim but I really don't see this as realistic.
The time is ripe for Ho€€enheim to lose again (their last defeat was the 1:4 in Fürth before the winter break) ... and in this league, any team can beat the other on a good day! Give them a hell of a fight and finally play with 2 strikers ... and all is possible! You simply have to win this game ... and as we know, the will can move mountains sometimes! And I also hope that the fans finally checked the seriousness of the situation, so the team will be cheered by at least 35,000 fans this time!

I don't know Borussia, the prospects are really bleak, and the results at home were poor so far.
As far as Sasic is concerned, he certainly did a good job at Koblenz and proved that he can get a lot out of mediocre players. Whatever his reasons for sidelining Bernier, it might well have something to do with disappointing performances for much of the season rather than with any anti-Canadian bias. He should get Simpson back on the team though. Maybe Sasic is a bit too obsessed with ensuring discipline at the moment, since he also dropped Jendrisek. Fine them if you like, but let them play!
I said it before and I restate it now: Runström must start. He's not a perfect striker by any stretch of the imagination, but he's got at least a bit of technical ability and intelligence. On Monday he was among the few who realised that you have to play pressing even with one man down in order to get the bloody ball. Others just stood by to watch Osnabrück playing square balls and wasting time.
Come on FCK, prove me wrong and win the next match!

That idiot took TuS Koblenz from the 4th Division (Oberliga) to the 2nd Bundesliga. FCK was already a horrible mess when he got there. He didn't make the mess, he's trying to clean it up.
And because you read all of that on a Canadian "Soccer" Forum, you assume it's all true? What are their sources?? I know he's given Jendrisek a hard time, but Jendrisek also had problems with Kjetil Rekdal. And Jendrisek has volunteered to play with the amateurs from now on, so yes, I believe that Sasic is an overbearing a$$hole, but there's also a method to his madness.
I also know a coach can't just tell a player to "go upstairs and cancel his contract" too.
Someone is full of shit here.

I think it's good if Sasic is doing a clearing-up, clearly FCK needs it. the question is whether he can clear up in time to save them from relegation, which is looking increasingly unlikely. I'd hate to see them go down, but that's where it's undeniably heading.

I agree with Runström. He is surely much better than Opara.
A huge problem is that every player except keeper sippel is out of contract if lautern goes down. So they can move on a free transfer. I bet that there are a few players who want to lose.

Agree on that too. I thought he had huge potential earlier in the season.

This guy cannot be blamed, but I believe this is what you mean.......
Florian Fromlowitz has agreed to join Hannover 96 next season. He'll sign a three-year deal with them and I suppose back up Enke for at least the first two of them, if not all three.
Before his injury, I thought he was good enough to start for a 1st Bundesliga team, but now I think he has sentenced himself to at least two years of backup duty.
I think Fromlowitz will be the next in a long line of very good Bundesliga goalkeepers produced by Gerald Ehrmann at 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

It`s hard to believe that those stories about the bus driver, cook etc are true. There was nothing about that in german media or forums like "der-betze-brennt".
Concerning the canadian players my opinion is that Josh Simpson has to play as a starter. Bernier is one of the big disappointments this season. I prefer Demai on his position.

Luis Robles' contract is good for the 3rd division. I thought it was up in May, but apparently he signed a multi-year deal.
Only two players and both are keepers.
