Patrice Bernier and Josh Simpson were interviewed by Cdn TV announcer Gerry Dobson in Kaiserslautern last month some time, aired here on the weekend.
Both love playing in K-town. Surprised to hear that Bernier was quite a good hockey player, playing with Roberto Luongo in junior hockey.

Is today the day we put up a fight and claim all 3 points?

Good luck for the important "Abstiegsduell" in Paderborn today! If your guys should lose this game, it's going to be very tough keeping the league...

Thank you, Uwe.
0-0 HT Not a lot in this one yet. We have had about 2 1/2 chances. Even though this is away the 'Lautern fans are louder than the home side.

0-0 FT. I was bored to tears. We just don't have anyone who can score. Opera missed a sitter and we missed another later on. Shame.

Paderborn should be relegated with this result, but it isn't really satisfying for your guys either ... since you are 5 points away to spot 14 now.
The next home match against Freiburg will be vital for FCK, that's for sure! Good luck.

Paderborn.
It's always nice when one word is enough to say it all :D.

Not this time man. If you can't get a result in Paderborn, you are in a world of hurt.
I said FCK would be all right before. Sadly, I cannot say I believe that now...... :(

So true, the two direct teams that above #1FCK (FC Erzgebirge Aue : VfL Osnabrück) play each other. A draw is the best option for Die Roten Teufel :o

Another home game without a win. Quo vadis, FCK?

Oh, I do not know, maybe it was we were playing a top of the table team who is the only club to have a winning record in Fritz Walter.

I think he meant that we had some good chances and we didn't score. We can't hit sitters. Where are the goals going to come from? Drawing is O.K. for mid-table teams but we need victories. If you can't score you can't win, etc.
It has been very frustrating to want our most loved club get knocked about in the last few matches and yet have some good chances to win the day. I believe we can still stay up but we are leaving it very, very late.

I expect an "Endspiel" against Köln on matchday 34. But probably only if you win the next away match in Wiesbaden...

Top of the table? Freiburg is seventh. If you meant they are still promotion candidates, I get that, but dude, that "only club to have a winning record at Fritz Walter Stadion was a built-in excuse to fail.
I think the draw is a moral victory myself, but it has nothing to do with past history. The way Freiburg looked at home against Mainz last Friday night was something to build on for them.
Obviously, they failed to do so. But it was a great thing for FCK.
Survival is the goal and six points is needed to pass Offenbach. FCK cannot let that gap become any more......
"Borussia" is right. They have to start taking full points from matches NOW. Or they are doomed and another great German club will fall by the wayside.

I have not heard that this year, I just remember it from last year, and frankly it is true.
Deep breath Keith, deep breath.
