My comment was strictly tongue-in-cheek, of course :D. However, I'm pretty sure less firings wouldn't have helped us last season anyway (of course, one coach stepped down on it's own and one was fired after being demoted to assistant coach before, for the record).
But enough with the off-topic discussion, I think :D.
It's not like there's any other discussion going on here! LOL!!

Really weird decision from the FCK board  ... but ok, it's their problem!
Really curious who will be coaching the team in Fürth next Sunday.

Milan Sasic is the new coach.
The 49 years old Croatian lead Koblenz in 4 years from Oberliga (4th division)
to 2.Bundesliga and got sacked last April, because the team was in
relegation trouble (and got later relegated).
Hopefully the right coach for this young team.

EE, when did Koblenz get relegated since Sasic brought them up? I thought Uwe Rapolder saved them?
And some of those players at FCK are going to be wishing they played harder for Rekdal. Sasic is a strict disciplinarian.

Footyfan's right, Koblenz weren't relegated.
They were hovering just outside the relegation spots when Sasic was fired(a decision I didn't agree with personally) and then Rapolder was brought in and improved their form enough to make sure they stayed clear of the relegation spots.
Sasic I think still accomplished a lot with Koblenz in his time there. But I am not sure that it can be compared to the situation he'll be in at FCK...
Obviously, I hope he manages to help them stay up.
It's strange though, I remember when VfB was coached by Trappatoni and had had a bad start to the season.... they were about to play Kaiserslautern, and I had tons of discussions with their fans(none of whom still post here), I kept telling them they'd be one of my picks for relegation but they dismissed that possibility and said things along the lines of me being just jealous because they were doing better than my side. At the end of that season, they got relegated. Then last year, they failed in their promotion fight. And this year, they'll need help to stay in the 2. Liga. I really hope they succeed - FCK in 3. Liga would be a sad thing :(

I was actually upset at the time they fired Sasic too. I thought it was arrogant of them to think they "belonged" in the 2. Liga. But, it turns out the decision was the correct one.
I've gotten to the point that I really don't care if FCK stays up or not. I "hope" they do, but it won't affect me one way or the other if they don't.

Well, with FCK's financial problems, I don't think they would get a license for the 3. Liga......

You are right, Koblenz still plays in 2.Bundesliga.

I'm really curious whether the former FCK top striker & idol Bruno Labbadia is going to show some mercy for his former club by not fielding his best starting eleven on Sunday. ;) Should be a very interesting and close game, since both teams need a win.
Btw: I'll try to take some nice pics for this thread.

C'mon, just wait with this string of wins until next weekend! ;)
I've attended the final training session of Bruno's guys today (I went there for buying the ticket) ... and from what I've seen, I'd give the good advice to the FCK players to be very careful with set pieces! :-) Fürth didn't score 3 of the last 4 goals after free-kicks for nothing.
Good luck to both teams, may the better win. There's a lot of pressure for the "Teufel", who have to replace Iacob, Beda and Schönheim (Fürth has to replace the defender Biliskov).
PS: It's sooooo cold here these days!

Stimmt.
Well, if your guys manage to get a win in Fürth (best home team so far) tomorrow, I'll take my hat off to them! If you should lose and Offenbach & Osnabrück get wins, it's gonna be very, very tough for you to keep the league in the end! Thus I expect a FCK team that will fight and run for the club's survival!
We'll see what happens...
