What's on here lately? 1. FCK with a boost in the last games and with Klaus Topmöller as the new Sportdirektor ... but nobody seems to care.

Congrats on the impressive away win at Millerntor last night (after a 0:2 lag).

Good to see the FCK come back like they did in Hamburg, never giving up. I think Klaus Toppmöller has very little to do with that, though.

Well, St. Pauli's third goal should have never counted. It was a blatant handball.

And the pk call was wrong as well. It hit Bellinghausen's leg.

Simpson's goal was unbelievable as was his assist.

Perception is reality.

I think the team (coach and players) deserve the credit, whereas Toppi has only caused disquiet so far. It's beyond me why he had to get a job at the club if he just wanted to help. But let's wait and see what sort of new players he will come up with in the winter break.

It is alot more complicated than that. It is not that he actually did anything, but the club needed a shake up, Toppi did that, and the team is now motivated.

I think that team would have been motivated eventually, but you are right, perception IS reality. I also think some of them know Toppi will bring in Georgians to take their jobs!

2:3 against Jena, after a two goal lead at halftime and a missed penalty.
"Unnötig wie ein Kropf", as we say down here.

The FCK makes the sensation and wins a point on the leader's pitch in double numerical inferiority  ... but nobody seems to care. Pity.

Congrats on this impressive fighting spirit and important point! Should give your guys a lot of confidence for the rest of the season...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! We needed that and as you can see we are almost out of the drop zone. :)

It was absolutely deserved and very impressive, although we were incredibly poor and stupid last night.

How I said, this should give you a lot of confidence!

Can someone explain to me the logic of sacking Rekdal just now?
If the FCK management wanted to get rid of him, why didn't they do so in the winter break when another manager might have had a chance to exert his influence on the team? The games against Gladbach and Munich were never likely to be won.
Given the lack of money and the prospect of a very tough debut in Fürth, I wonder whether a decent manager is likely to fill the vacancy and risk his reputation.

I wish the FCK the best of luck and success, but I fear there are hard times ahead. :(

Wow, thats great managing!
But luckyly a club like Lautern can easily afford to be paying 3 coaches at the same time... Change the team in the winterbreak according to the coaches wishes and then sack him a week later. OMG

Good Luck anyways! But right now I dont see them getting out of this... :(

I like FCK, but I have to agree with you here. Another boneheaded move by management. They who truly have this club on the fast path to hell......

I really don't know what they and some of the FCK fans expect. I mean, sure they lost last night, but I saw some progress. I guess they thought they would just bust out and challenge for the top three.

What idiots.

Pfff, we had five coaches last season. Wake me if Lautern manage to break that record :D.

Maybe it's just that previous experience, but I just don't think firing two coaches per season is something newsworthy anymore ;).

It seems you think it isn't newsworthy becuase your club was dumb enough to nearly triple it. Well, for "normal" clubs it still is a big thing. Sorry it's not interesting to you because your club set the all-time record for managerial stupidity.

FCK mangement is trying to catch you. Maybe that is the part that should be "interesting......."

My comment was strictly tongue-in-cheek, of course :D. However, I'm pretty sure less firings wouldn't have helped us last season anyway (of course, one coach stepped down on it's own and one was fired after being demoted to assistant coach before, for the record).

But enough with the off-topic discussion, I think :D.
