What's going on at FCK? Zak? Footy? What type of problems are they having?

Financial and mental. The hole they've been trying to dig out of is just too big. They can't buy good players and can't keep the ones they develop.

I know that these troubles started earlier but it seems to me when the greatest German footballer ever to kick a ball passed on (G_D rest his soul) the problems surrounding the club started to feel insurmountable. Its sad because 1FCK is the soul of German football. The Bundesliga isn’t the same for me. The entire league rings as hollow to me as the Chelsea football club. :(

That's sad for you. Well, really sad in general, but yeah. Sorry you can't enjoy it anymore.

Yeah, it is really sad but I still hold hope that one day it will all change. If there is one thing I've learned from old Fritz it is never say die. EVER!

Many of my friends revered him. And I don't think you have to worry about FCK ever giving up.

Ever!

Reading those words almost makes me tear-eyed and I’m a grown man. I don’t think I can handle chatting in the German forums. Sorry.

That's cool. Just know whenever you can handle it, we'll be here.

And a ton of injuries.

We all thought we were finally out of that hole the previous management team dug for us, but it keeps coming back.

Hallo !

Eric Gerets has been nominated at l'OM so I would know what do you think about him ? ;) I've alrready asked PSV and Galatasaray fans but Germany is the only league that Gerets couldn't bring trophies from. Thank you !

Come on folks, make it three points this time, or the new season might get really rough. Lautern is only my second-favourite team, but it's still depressing to see how things are developing.

By the way, is Josh Simpson still part of the squad? I always thought he might become a very valuable player one day, but he never got much playing time under Wolf, did he?

As far as I know, he was always very popular with the fans. At the time he worked in Kaiserslautern, FCK wasn't exactly in a position to compete for trophies.

He had a serious knee injury in the Koln game, last game of the past year. It kept him out of the Gold Cup. The team is brining him back slowly. I believe he is training with the team, but has not been fit enough to make the match squad. There is hope next week, but I bet it is the week after when they are at home again.

Hopefully, but I think a lot of it was that they played the one team in the 2. Liga who is obviously quite a bit worse than they are......

It is. Thank you. Now, I hope we turn this into a string of W-W-W.
