oh cmon now...cuto sucks but to be fair this game against japan he actually cut off some japanese attacks...i still think he should not be called for the WCQ though...its not like he f-up like mendoza against ecuador....

I admit he did some good things, but everytime he did he would mess it up on his next move. :D That doesn't tell me he is a secure player. Sometimes he was the last man in the back and I didn't feel that secure with him there. :eek: kinda scary

I always said, don't sleep on Cuto. He may be a joke to some, but futbolisticamente he's grown a whole lot.

Most gentlemen here have already made up their minds. Cuto sucks. It won't matter if he shuts down Shevchenko and scores 2 goals, he sucks and that's all there is to it.

Anyway, Cuto was great (told y'all) and even though our attack was absolutely horrid, one of the least horrid ones was Alva (told y'all). Overall though the game was sh1t. Peru was extremely slow and timid, Japan sucks.

Salas, Chiroque and Vassallo should start over Lobaton, Mendoza and Mostto, they bring a different pace to the game.

So what it sounds like. Is that u Peruchos didnt get the game on the east coast. Too bad.

We got the game here on the west coast at 10am.

Cantor was just saying the biggest bullsh!t about la seleccion (how Cuto is one of Peru's top defenders etc..)

The game was mostly boring, because the Japanese are so fast and have endless endurance, Peru never really got to play some good toque.

The defense did well, but it was against this lateral kick and run type style Japan plays. I was surprised, I thought with Zico as the coach and all, Japan would've played a much nicer style.

The best thing of the day.
Who ever saw the game saw the performance of that sub "el chato" Chiroki (?). That little dude at one point put on a clinic on how to juke fools. I am serious, Maradona would've been proud.

He was the guy who gave the super dope pass to the other Peruano who scored the goal.

If anything, this dude Chiroki definetly earned himself a spot on the NT next month. :)

Best thing is that Ternero is the one who won this game. :)

The teams werent doing anything, and ultimately it was his two subs who put together the game winning goal. Note, the guy who scored the goal was in the game less than 30 seconds when he scored. He scored because he beat his defender and goalie to the spot.

Can anyone say fresh legs?

Or how about peferct timing on the substitution? ;)

Also of note, Japan was fielding 5 NT starters and we still beat them. :cool:
