Hello everybody! Does Anyone of you know french football in and out? Who is the biggest talent in france? Is it Ben Arfa,Nasri,Menez,Song Billong or someone else? Any talented goalkeepers maybe? Fill me in!

bodmer (lille), zubar (caen), norbert(nantes), keseru (nantes), ederson (nice), benzema (lyon) (!!), (grax : lorient/monaco), clement (lyon), distel zola (monaco) (15 or 16 yearx ;)).

it's hard to say who's the biggest prospect...

as far as lyon goes, i can say that the player who's most impressed me for pure talent is ben arfa. but he doesn't have the best attitude, needs to learn a little humility. benzema is a real n°9 who is already pretty mature considering he just had his 18th birthday.

for keepers, OL has 2 that have been called up to the U18 national team, johan hartock and rémy riou. hartock's manager is bernard lama, and the OL goalkeeper coach is joel bats, so he's in pretty good hands!

I would have to say that seeing him in person over several matches, Ronald Zubar of Caen has impressed me a lot. Especially after the PSG game where the ref made it a point to tell him "good game."

thanx for the responses guys. I wasnt aware just how young Lyon is.young? you bet! the players who beat sparta prague 5-0 in the CL group round averaged 23 years old!

when you live in lyon you see what a youth programme is all about: OL is impressive right down to the U-10 teams. every kid in town wants to wear that kit, and most of the best do.

and it's easy to bring kids into the pro squad under the present conditions. when an 18 year old "star" goes onto the pitch, he doesn't have to be wayne rooney, he just has to do his job, and he's surrounded by lots of help and lots of confidence.
