COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Crew General Manager Mark McCullers announced today that The Crew will take on English Premier League (EPL) club Fulham FC and former Crew star Brian McBride in a closed practice match that will be open to a select group of fans on Wednesday, July 27, at 7 p.m. at Crew Stadium.
Fulham FC will be in Columbus for the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game which takes place on Saturday, July 30, at Crew Stadium (ABC Sports at 3:30 p.m. ET).
"This closed session provides us the opportunity to bonus Crew Soccer Nation members and other friends of The Crew who have purchased Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game tickets," said McCullers. "This allows them a sneak peek at Fulham with The Crew."
Tickets to the closed session vs. Fulham will be available only to select Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game ticket purchasers. Tickets will not be made available to the general public. Crew Soccer Nation members who have already purchased Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game tickets will be sent the Fulham closed practice match tickets with their MLS All-Star Game tickets.
Crew Soccer Nation memberships are available at the Gold level (pro-rated 18-game season ticket package), Black level (nine-game season ticket package), Silver level (six-game season ticket package) and Crew Supporter level (four voucher plan).
