I am not going to be able to watch it live anyway and I am having a hard time justifying shelling out the cash. Who here that has Directv is going to pay for it?

I was thinking about it (on Dish Network), but man that's a lot. This game does have the potential to be a classic though. I'll probably end up getting it, since I've got a pretty good track record with PPV soccer. Two of the three games I ordered during Euro 2004 were England-France and Holland-Czech Rep., and both ended up being extremely memorable (the other was the Portugal-Holland semi, not too bad a game either).

I am planning to... my only problem is I have to leave home at 12:30 at the latest, so it will really suck if the match goes into Extra Time or PK.

It will be interesting just to see whether our players are affected by the Glazer takeover and the fans' protest.

Already purchased and the DVR is set to record it so I can watch it whenever.

me. I'm recording it to my DVR, and then burning it to DVD for some friends.

For the price it better be the Sky Sports feed or I'm gonna be pissed.

Four of us are pitching in to watch it at my buddy's house. If I didn't have to take my daughter with me I'd pay the cover at the Shakespeare Pub and Grille.

I will. DTV loves me. I should have a channel named after me for all the money I give that cartel. :D

I will, too. I was going to hike into DC to watch at Lucky Bar, but that would cost me $20, it'd take most of the day (have to get there by 7 or 8 to get a seat and 1.5 hour drive back), and I'd have to drive home if we lost. I hate getting into a car and driving after a loss, be it football, college basketball, whatever. I hate it. So if I don't have someone to go with, I usually just stay home...

Understandable, man. A long, depressing drive home over the Bay Bridge on a dreary Saturday afternoon, might just be tempted to yank your ride over the guardrail into the Chesapeake and end it right there ;)
The bar doesn't open til 9, and I wouldn't expect many people in line beforehand (after all, this ain't Star Wars :) ). If I was in your shoes I'd probably just order the PPV, but as it stands now, I plan on being at the LB tomorrow morn, bleary-eyed and with pint in hand...

Not me, I'll be listening on the online radio (cue Diana Ross, "on the radio"). Am I the only one too cheap to blow a tank of gas to drive two hours to Orlando at 8 am + $20 cover to see the game?? It doesn't mean I don't love our boys, it's just that I'm a student, dammit. I'm sure some of you guys'll be on here too. I know it would be better at the pub, but I sure love the internet -- c'mon you reds!! :)

Every single sane person in Kenya's watching this free. If you've got a telly, then you've got the free national channel, and you've got live FA Cup final this afternoon!

I'm buzzing and it's 8:07am here. Kickoff is at 4pm.

Woooosaaaa... control, Sitati.

Good for you free watchers. It sucks having to pay for top matches. It basically sucks being a football fan in America! For this type of thing alone I wish I was back home in Zambia where everything from Tyson matches ( in his heyday) and Wrestlemania ( outgrown it now! ) were free!
