I'm doing some research for an article and need some help with some fact checking...
What year(s) was Kellogg's Frosted Flakes your jersey sponsor and Nike your Jersey supplier?
If anybody can confirm the year for this Jeresy for me I would be very grateful.

IIRC MLS has a year 10 book that has year by year jersey designs.
But I am not at home so can't look it up for you.
but off the top of my head...
Nike was 96 to 99? Athletica took over in 00?

Nike 1996-2000
Athletica 2001-2004

Thanks Guys for your quick reply!
3rd Degree if you can confirm Ryan's (burning247) post on Jersey year and sponsor in your book when you get home I would greatly appreciate it.
BTW where did you get this book that details year by year jerseys?

It's essentially a ten year media guide form the league. It has a breakdown of each team. I tihnk maybe it's about 100 pages of stuff.
I wil be happy to check it when I get back on Friday.

Any word from Buzz (or anybody else) on whether or not FCD is pursuing negotiations with anybody?
Now that RSL has popped the cherry, so to speak, on the whole shirt sponsor thing, I wonder who'll be next.
If the $5 million figure is correct, that's some pretty nice coin that I'd like FCD to get a piece of.

I wonder if it will be a current corporate partner like Verizon. Just tack on some extra dough and include it in their package.

I would think that there would be higher value for a jersey sponsor than just an "add on". It would be a significant additional investment. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone new come in.

I talked to Hitch about this in the VWC after our playoff loss to the crapids. He said that they were going to take their time on finding the right shirt sponsor since it will be tied in directly with the club. So I don't expect a Condoms To Go sponsored jersey being worn by U10 girls and boys.

It won't work since the youth team will be wearing the same jerseys so I don't think a beer sponsor would be a good move.
