I Personally Think that ecuador can beat any team because they beat the best when they beat Brazil. And they should def qualify for the WC without a dought. I think the Valencia and Salas will be the future of ecuador they are young and very talented ok respond if u disagree.

I think Ecuador is the most improved South American team without a doubt, and they have proven they are on the same level with Paraguay and Uruguay. That being said, it might be too early still to say that they "rule".
But you are right, Salas and Valencia is leading the way, but don't forget Mendez! ;)

Dude, don´t give the Ecuadorians a bad name here. Keep your trap shut and don´t emabarress the rest of us. Ecuador is a country that is pretty much loved by a lot of people due to it´s size, place on this earth, the people and great improvement in the sport of footy. Always being the underdog, it is a team that has come very far to gain the respect it has deserved. We don´t need people hating us because of a-holes like you that go around talking cr@p about being the best when we all know we are far from it.

It is true, though, we can beat any team, but not because we are the best...but because the players can be very inspired into giving 110% and not giving up. As much as I don´t want to bring it up...altitude of Quito does play a factor as well. Not as much as others claim, but at the end of the day, it does. :)
