First of all, I'm not encouraging anything unlawful or dangerous. Second of all, I am encouraging you to show your displeasure to anyone connected or supporting the hostile takeover of our club. Get involved, come up with your own ideas, wear your "Not 4 Sale" tee shirts, make a banner, make a difference.

Ok, first up, here's something that may be coming to a city near you and feature JP Morgan (BOOOO!!!!!)

Thanks. I'll actually be taking part in the Chicago race next week (well, "race" used extremely loosely here). I just wonder what sort of impact can be made in that sort of situation. The vast majority will likely be unaware of the Glazer takeover, since I'm guessing there may be many volunteers, seeing as how the race is intended to benefit local charities.

I'm all for getting the message out to JP Morgan Chase though. I know that there were folks on RedCafe fervently sending faxes, letters, e-mails, phone calls, etc. to the company's offices expressing their opposition to the bid, and I hope that trend can continue.

ya that will make a difference.... wearing a tee shirt will somehow make glazer sell his shares and get out. you're brighter than that ian.

Obviously, the point is to make contact with other fans in the area and spread the word, generate support, draw attention to an issue, etc.

I'm not saying he should set himself on fire at the finish line.

since he has bought the shares now
is the aim of your protest to try get him to sell them back?

Ideally to force him out or cause him problems I would assume.
