I would like to see the CL turning into the standard league for the 2 or 3 best clubs from the major countries...and 1 club from the smaller countries

A knockout comp containing the top two from the eight major countries (England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Holland, Portugal and Russia) and the champions of the other leagues. Also the reigning champion should qualify automatically.

In the big leagues, let only the champions qualify directly for the champion's league, and every other team has to qualify for it. Of course winning the championship is more special than getting 2nd even now, but I don't really see why the 2nd team should get the same 'prize' Europe-wise by also getting an automatic spot in the CL.

That there are more teams from the bigger leagues in the CL doesn't bother me. So keep the multiple team thing. Maybe limit it to 3 to give an extra 'better' team in the UEFA Cup, but basically I don't see much reason to change things from what they are now.
