In Peru we only have one city that matters, and that's Lima. That's unfortunate because the rest of Peru is left behind and forgotten. That's another sad reality of Peru where our mentality is only focused on Lima, and nowhere else. This "centralizada mentalidad de Lima" is what's keeping Peru from growing as a country, economicaly and culturaly. I mean just look at Colombia, where it has all these big cities with their own identity... and Peru? Has $hit... only Lima and maybe Cuzco and Arequipa, especially Arequipa who have fought hard to keep their own identity.
But this is not our fault, this is centuries of monotony where everybody else around us has grown and Peru still is just Lima... Lima where at one point was the capital of South America made by the Spanish 'conquistadores.' So our problems wont change anytime soon.

u very right peru y tu , we are the only nation where the 3 mos important teams are in the capital and everybody u know is from lima, lima is peru and the rest doesn exists at all

Well actually Buenos Aires is bigger and probably more important to Argentina than Lima is to Peru, but I agree with you guys, they need to spread the population and resources elsewhere.
