i have read that oliver whatshisname has said the army may have to be called in over your protests at the cup final about malcolm glazer.

please do not involve arsenal fans in this - weve got nothing to do with the fact your club had been placed on the stockmarket and then bought by someone.

i read that man utd fans will walk onto the pitch and sit down - dont bother, were coming to cardiff to win a cup and play some football, please respect that.

i understand that you guys are angry about the situation, but dont ruin day with the mess that man utd created themselves by going onto the stockmarket.

please understand though i have hounest sympathy with you guys and couldnt begin to imagine what it is like to lose my club.

thanks

matt

********off u twat... its all nice to say that but this is more serious than one fa cup to us and if somepeople want to protest they will do so... i find it funny that u think u can actually make a difference by posting here... incase u have not noticed, the vast majority posting here are not in the UK... it'd be kind of hard for us to sit anywhere but on our sofas... lol

The irony of this coming from a supporter of Shareholders United should be lost on no one. Since there are 1001, can we still help posts on here from ManU fans. Most of us (fans of other clubs) have been supportive, but the classless twat will always be the classless twat.

Most of the SU protests so far bother very little, save for the innocent joe someone who unfortunately has to drive past OT to get home after a hard days work to see his family, but can't because traffic is blocked . . . way to show Glazer.

To say something like you said MKJ was just a low class response to a legitmate question. Maybe SU will be stupid enough to charge the field and hurt one of their own players in the mess. This is just unbelievable.

Fair enough... but I'm bloody sick of everyone coming in here and starting a new thread every ten minutes... we have no less than 10 threads about this sh1t. I am sick of it, also - a protest is never actually effective against what its supposed to stop... when someone lies in front of a bulldozer they are not physically stopping the bulldozer from wrecking a home, they are making the driver pause... that's what a protest is supposed to do... give the parties involved a pause... to show your committment and strength - if we dont protest now when will we? After he's ruined the club???

If I drop $30 on PPV and it gets forfeited because of idiots, I'm going to be awfully pissed off about it.

Why not drop $60 down and then you can be doubly pissed off, or would that be three times as pissed. Im not sure if it doubles or trebles at that point, but go on have a blast. Live a little.

Isn't the FA likely to punish the club if the fans cause major problems? Is this a case of "I love ManU so much I have to kill it", or what? All you'd be doing is hurting the club, not actually accomplishing anything.

The idea is to show Glazer that the fans dont want him and they are willing to pay any price to get rid of him...

Remember when everyone in England was calling for Inter Milan to be banned for at least 2 years when the flares were thrown? I don't understand how some people here would consider something like that now.

If flares or violence erupts due to Man U fans storming the pitch, before, during and after the game, I call for a ban of United for 1 year in the Premiership. Then again, they might do that to stick it to Glazer.

fair play, but if I thought that much about my team I would have to go to extremes to demonstrate the feelings of the fans.
Unfortunatly the other team has to suffer.

look mate i said im sorry about whats happening to your club, but coz of c0cks like you im also taking a lot of enjoyment out of it!

why should my club have to put up with risks to the game coz your club is stupid enough to go on the market in the first place? please at least think before youre insults.

and you say me asking for the on-pitch protest toi not happen is pointless? then what about trying to resist glazers takeover? thats more pointless.... once again, please, think before you speak, is this clear enough for you? :)

If SU does something like this, that is some loyalty they are showing as "fans". The hysteria coming from over yonder is shocking. Plus blatant anti-Americanism is painfully obvious. If Glazer was some English geezer, there would not much of an outcry.

I have to respectfully disagree. This is one thing Ive heard time and again that every protest has some element of anti-americanism. Rubbish. Absolute rubbish.

Matt had a good point when he wrote this, and there is a lot of truth in what he says.

I am against the takeover as are most true football fans in this country. The nationality of Glazer has nothing to do with it. It's the debt factor.

Matt does have a point though. Id like to know honestly what the members of Shareholders United said when the club went public. Because I remember TV interviews of "Fantastic, now we've raised the money to compete at the top of Europe" and "This will make Man U indestructable". Quite simply when you float on the stock market, you leave yourselves open to this kind of thing. Hence why Arsenal will never go public thankfully. Finally, at present SU have the support of the majority of football fans - they will lose a fair percentage of that if they desecrate the biggest day in English Football, the Cup Final. Man U are bigger than a lot of things, they are not bigger than the Cup Final and I hope the FA comes down with as much punishment as possible if they do ruin it.

Right. So when I watched them burning the American flag, that was just a statement against debt? Sorry but there is certainly some Anti-American element to their reactions.

because we all know that burning the American flag is the worse thing that anyone anywhere can do...

I understand its an upsetting thing, but u guys have to understand we went from being the most profitable club in the world to being the most debt laden... there are bound to be some people who are upset... not condoning burning the flag, but at the same time it's not like women and children are dying.

If there is some anti-american sentiments, think how much worst shape the U.S. is in the world. This is England we are talking about, today's biggest ally to America. If they are buring american flags in England, I am glad I don't have an american passport when I travel.

I don't think anyone is going nuts because of any protests to date. The problem is that ManU fans are going to try and disrupt a match. Like someone mentioned earlier: when flares hit the ground in Italy, everyone said that was out of line, but now, apprently, it's OK because ManU are involved.

I think it sucks what Glazer is doing, but ManU set themselves up for just this type of situation the day they floated a listing on the stock market.

I've also gotten tired head from all the "ManUNot For Sale" banners. Of course it's for sale, and plenty of the folks with those banners have bought a piece of it themselves. It seems as if there's a double standard: everyone is for the PLC if it brings in lots of money, but everyone doesn't want anyone to buy the club up, piece by piece, so now they're against it.

Of course there is a certain degree of Anti-American element to the protest and the burning of the American Flag. The protest is about not letting an American to take control of the club!!!
