He makes some valid points. I think you mancs supporter are blowing things a bit out of proportion. Let's see how he does before you stop supporting your club.

"I don't agree that Manchester United will fall apart for the simple fact that if you invest £790million into something, do you want to destroy that capital? No. Why should he want to destroy the club?
"Football is at an intermediate stage where we are going from a guy who loved the club and supports it to a completely economic state where people are not linked anymore with their heart and the club.
"There is a reluctance from Manchester United supporters at the moment. The United fans have a feeling that he is not really in love with the club. There is a reluctance and the hurdle is more psychological than realistic.
"They are a public company and they have to accept that if the main shareholders sell. That's what happens.
"Don't convict the guy who has not made one decision. He could be very good for the club."

I LMOA when I heard Wenger commenting about the Manchester United take over situation. Some media idiot actually asked him what he thought about it ? LOL he's the last person who's opinion matters on this subject.

Let's all take a deep breath.....exhale.....and calm down. Football is football, and what happens off the pitch doesn't matter - that's my opinion. I love United (always will), and I love watching United play, but we have to listen to Steve Bruce on this one. Its inevitable now, and before we all leap off a balcony, lets wait and see what happens. More and more money is pumped into the game each passing year, it was bound to get more absurd, and now it has.
Business cannot destroy football, and it cannot destroy United. Who knows what's going to happen.

But - isn't Man U's success as a competitive club important for the overall success of AW and the EPL as a whole?

"Pay no attention to the club sinking into massive debt."
If there is one thing that I don't understand, it's club debt. My newbie impression of European football is that clubs are allowed to go millions in debt... and do things like not pay a transfer fee to another club, without retaliation. And even if they do have to sell off some players in the end, for some reason they simply regroup in a second division and come back up.

Arsene made some valid points, but he is not emotional involved like Most Man U fans. and what does he cares? He wants his team to win and want to watch us to busrt into flames.
From a business point of view, Glazer doesn't want the club fail. Even if the English fans no longer support the club, he still can rely on the millions of fans from other country. The club isn't going any where. He will still make money out of it.
But I fear him because he is going to turn Man U from a Football club to a marketing machine.

I suspect Wenger would much rather beat Manu on a relatively level playing field than beat them after they self destructed...
