Page D6 of the Post sports section today there is an article on how several DCU players are assisting local high school soccer teams in Virginia (DC & MD play their seasons in the Fall, VA in the Spring). I tried looking for this in the online Post but without any luck.

Brian Namoff is helping McLean High School along with reserve goalkeeper Andrew Terris. Brian Carroll is assisting Stone Bridge and Josh Gros is helping over at my nephew's school, Westfield.

Demand is high for United players to assist at camps, training sessions and schools, so they created a web site www.thesoccerpros.com

Props to these guys for giving up valuable time to help at the high schools.

Best organization in MLS shows why they are class again.

Nice catch Bill, I just read it. Hopefully this also helps out in building a new fan base too.

Thanks for posting this. I saw that in the print edition this morning and did a cursory look for it on-line, but had the same luck you did.

Nice conversation with Brian about the positive feedback he gets from working with the kids.
