crazy kid. solano is good, don't give him more credit then he merits!
i'll admit, Angel is not in his best form, but it migth have been due to that injury he had and the weight of all the pressureon his shoulders to score. But Delacruz is also a solid player. When he misses a game for what ever reason, Villa just gets creamed.
I think Mellberg needs to return and make Ridgewell take a seat.

Solano has been excellent for us this season. Simply superb. Some of the balls he plays are magic.
Angel has struggled, he doesn't have the best supply from our midfield and at times has really struggled for form. With an un-interupted pre season under his belt I'm expecting more from him next season.
De la Cruz isn't very solid. He is very handy going forward but isnt defensively strong enough to hold down RB.
Mellberg is out with injury. Without doubt Mellberg & Laursen is our first choice CDs

Can anyone anywhere in this boards be excited about how good of a year Solano has had. Of how happy Villa fans are for his tranfer without someone trying to tell me that De La Cruz is good too. I think De La Cruz is good and as a Peruvian I admit I would love it if he were Peruvian and play for our NT. But come on, Paolo Guerrero 33 is not dissing Ulises. The name of the thread is not compare Solano to De La Cruz... May be someone else can start one with DE LA CRUZ IS THE BEST. I promise not to bring up Solano on that one.

In terms of the Villa Solano is the best, but not in the premiership. I rate him very highly and is the best player villa have bought in years and what a bargin he was.

I don't know why every1 gives Angel a hard time Vassels just as bad now. When a midfielder is getting the top top goal scorer for a club you know your in trouble up front. I understand Vassel has been injured for a large amount of the season but this doesn't explain the season before last.

Nolberto is in the team to be creative and set the strikers up he has set the mojority of the strikers goals up but they don't seem to be putting the ball in the back of the net.

WE NEED A GARANTEED GOAL SCORER TO SEE THE BEST OUT OF SOLANO!
