This clown already missed a goal like that in Ukraine I hope he never gets call up again!! jajajajaja pobre negrito!!

I dont think he should start again, but at least be on the bench. After all, alot of people here said he was better than the best current Peruvian club striker. I'm not gonna say schitt yet, but maybe Ternero got a major plan going.

mendoza is far better than any forward in the peruvian league. no matter what people says he is still among our 4 best forwards.

people also forget that if he wouldn't have scored that crucial goal against paraguay in the first round of the eliminatorias we would probably have been eliminated by now.

no, cuz Peru scored 2 more goals, and also mendoza's case is not only missing that goal against ecuadoresh , its also missing those 3 goals against Uruguay, that goal against Venezuela, and some others more... My opinion ,he should not be called to the NT, he doesnt gives his best like he used to.

I'll never forgive Mendoza for missing that goal against EcuaDork either but I think he should still be called at least for the bench. Everyone is quick to jump on him but doesn't that mean he is also trying the hardest? I dont hear anyone saying they shouldn't call Pizarro and Mendoza has more goals than he does in the qualifiers. He does miss a lot of goals but he's still very talented and far better that half the strikers in the peruvian league.

Mendoza is a much more powerful and faster version of Guerrero IMO, but he cant define like a Pizarro or guerrero can, that is his main (fatal) flaw. Dont forget about Maestri's 100 million ******** up in the 98' quals, or anyone esles for that matter.

Seems like everyone forgets that, but not me.

Looking back on it, I feel bad for wishing death on someone I don't know.

That is good news because it was long time coming for this fool to stay off the NT. So who would be the third choice (not that Medonza was my third choice) in the forward line with Pizzaro and Guerrero?

our 4th forward should be the one that proves himself the best in the kirin cup.

I disagree with leaving Mendoza out. I think its a grotesque waste of talent but I also see why Ternero did what he did. Mendoza lacks direction and that can be fatal in these last crucial games, I think he can be effective off the bench though and would rather have him there. That being said I liked his interview, he was very accepting of his current position and remains ready and willing to play if he is called up. I think the way he interviewed was classy

the difference in talent betewn mendoza and anyone in peru is vast

the fowards we have there miss easy goals in peru

no one seemed to jump on vargas, he cost us the game against ecuador with his stupid ass clearence, and he nearly cost us the match againt paraguay luckily ibanez saved the penalty

point is, players will make mistakes, they shoudlnt be cast aside because of them, mostly because we dont have many players to choose from to begin with

Agreed. I think its a mistake that Mendoza was dropped like a bad habit, but something tells me Ternero wont see no miracles with the group he's taking. I mean how many of those guys played outside of Peru, its a whole different ball game playing in from of like 1000 PPL as compared to those Japanese stadiums which will be packed with at least 50,000.
